This is me sittin’ on the front porch.

This is me crossing the street.

This is me sayin’ something.

This is me in full retreat.

Here I go gonna start it over.

Here I go very indiscreet.

Here I go trying to hide me.

Here I go sweating in the heat.

I don’t care about

what people do or say now.

And I don’t care that I may die alone.

You can take

or leave me; it’s your issues.

But it never seemed to catch some attention.

And not a soul came by.
