Sounds I hear are
the smattering.
The pitter pattering of rain
outside
my
door.
What does this bring?
A quiet side.
No chance of earth colliding
with thoughts
a drift
inside.
You take that crazy day you had and stop.
No longer missile shots.
Just a sound which makes you
beg for more.
Serene takes away rancor.
Just look outside my door.
You have a bit of pain.
Yeah, we all do.
Take this moment
or two or three
and cast it
away.
Sounds I hear are
the smattering.
The pitter pattering of rain
outside
my
door.
What does this bring?
A quiet side.
No chance of earth colliding
with thoughts
a drift inside
