No there’s not always a tomorrow.
Maybe only a partial today.
Thought about putting off
and putting off.
Saying I’m just distracted.
Use any excuse and
Your thoughts and words
All get manufactured.
Sitting on a beach like
Some bird in the sand.
But he, even flies away.
Doesn’t need a helping hand.
No there’s not always tomorrow.
Maybe only a partial today.
Doing all your things can be
Quite therapeutic than
Watching your sun fade away.
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow
No guarantee, no guarantee.
Live like you mean it.
There is more than you can see.
Get on up now!
We can make excuses.
And flip the shades down.
But why?
Who are we fooling?
Only ourselves all day.
Then say that we mean it.
Then it’s gone;
all slipped away.
Pull up your pants
And get real!
Questions mark tomorrow.
People had a yesterday.
But some, not at all.
So, learn to focus.
Get it done.
Because there’s a maybe
All we’ll have is that
Partial today.
